2. Manny Pacquiao


Earning $62 million this year from both salaries and endorsements, boxer Manny Pacquiao is the second richest athlete of this year. Even though he lost the WBO welterweight title to Timothy Bradley, Manny still managed to earn significant amounts of money. Basketball star LeBron James is the fourth wealthiest athlete in the world as of 2012, topping all the other 12 basketball players included in the top. The Miami Heat player had total earnings of $53 million this year. Besides his salary, the 27-year-old basketball player made a lot of money after scoring a contract with Fenway Sports Group. Other endorsement campaigns he has made include companies such as Nike, Coca-Cola, and McDonald’s.

5. Roger Federer


ATP World No. 1 tennis player Roger Federer is a lucky gay. He was a blossoming career, he is the best at what he does, he has a beautiful family, and is the fifth richest athlete in the world. This year, Federer earned $52.7 million. The 30-year-old’a endorsements include Rolex, Nike, Credit Suisse, and Wilson.
